The temperature was in the subzero range this morning. It was sunny out, too.
This made perfect conditions for a sun dog to appear. I rarely see them.

I think suppose to appear on both sides of the sun when ice crystals are floating in the air, may have been one on the other side in this pic, but was too cold to find out what was going on, they only appear in the subzeros it seems
