Kokuso Mulberry has been a slower growing mulberry tree for me. But that hasn’t stopped it from producing a lot of fruit. The fruit ripens in a shorter time frame than some of my other Mulberry cultivars.

Iowa Mulberry Cultivars
There are many different Mulberry cultivars one can try to grow in Iowa. The middle one is from a special selection, while the smaller ones are seedlings that grow around here.

Most of the mulberries here have been planted by wild animals, but I have bought some mulberry cultivars, such as the two below: Northrop Mulberry on the left and Kokuso Mulberry on the right.
