Toxic Leak

I have been growing the Japanese Varnish Tree(Rhus verniciflua). Injury to the branches will release a black ooze called urushiol, which can cause painful rashes on susceptible people.

Compound Tree Leaves

Toona sinensis is a tree with edible young leaves, also called Chinese Mahogany. Toxicodendron vernicifluum is related to Poison Ivy and has urushiol in it.
