Local Beaver Gang

There are Beavers in the area, though I shall keep them off my place.  They can do a lot of damage to trees. Large Cottonwood trees nearly girdled to death. The beavers built a lodge to live in. A dam built with some tree branches and corn stalks.

Beaver Ice

I came across a beaver pond covered in ice. This pond has been here for awhile.  The beavers still live here and maintain it, but the trees are becoming less and less to gnaw on, soon they will have to move and let this pond dissolve.
