Chinese White Poplar

The Chinese White Poplar(Populus tomentosa) is closely related to the common White Poplar(Populus alba). I wouldn’t be surprised if it suckers someday.

Chinese Poplar Trees

I have a lot of different fast growing Poplar trees. This is Chinese White Poplar(Populus tomentosa).  It is more closely related to the White Poplar(Populus alba) than some Poplar trees. A big-leafed Poplar that is called Szechuan Poplar(Populus szechuanica).

White Poplar Fast Growth

Through 10 growing seasons, my White Poplar(Populus alba) has grown very fast. I am able to climb my fast growing poplar tree, which feels rewarding climbing a tree that I planted.

White Poplar Grove

A young White Poplar(Populus alba) has been suckering. Slowly a Poplar grove will be formed from one tree.
