Bloody Oak

Fall has caused this Bur Oak tree to look like it is bleeding. This has been caused by a Virginia Creeper vine crawling up the trunk.

With the many Bur Oaks in the forest, I see a lot different things that set each tree apart.

Bur Oak Blight

Some of the Bur Oaks have been dying in the past few years. Bur Oak Blight is the likely culprit.
