Giant Fleeceflower Spreading

Giant Fleeceflower is generally well-behaving, but the clump continues to spread. The flowers are the most important feature of this perennial, lasting what seems like an eternity.

Iowa Iris Garden

There used to be a lot of Iris cultivars in this garden. It has been survival of the fittest, any many have died in the grass.  The main survivors are yellow and pink Irises.

Goat’s Beard

Goatsbeard is a perennial that flowers heavily and attracts a lot of insect pollinators to it.   This plant prefers more shady areas and not full sun.
