The Pear trees are starting to have their flower petals fall to the ground. Looks like a late spring snow.

Grafted Fruit Tree Flowering
My first grafted tree is flowered this month. This is a Pineapple Pear tree.
Kieffer Pear Flowering
The Kieffer Pear has been reliable at flowering and producing a lot of fruit. This tree was bought as a Bartlett Pear, but was found out later that it was not. These pears have grit cells in them that make them grainier than Bartlett-type Pears.
