Ginkgo Leaves

Ginkgo trees have unusual leaves. Ginkgo Biloba is a slow growing tree that I like planting for the future.  I also have some Ginkgo cultivars that I have added lately.

Yellowhorn Flowering

The Yellowhorn(Xanthoceras sorbifolium) has started flowering at a young size and age. The end result should be edible nuts.  Pretty good for an ornamental flowering shrub.

Cobra Chestnut

What better way to make a nut to look bigger than this? Looks like Cobra has a big bomb to use on G.I Joe.

Black Walnut Victim

I am the latest victim of the Black Walnut tree.  The nuts attracts humans and as a result we end up like this: Parts of my hand have been dyed black from removing the black husks.
