Iowa Pomegranate

Nanking Cherry Seedlings

The Nanking Cherry bushes are a great ornamental that provides reliable fruiting most years. . The seeds tend to germinate very easy, as can be seen from the above photo.

Ussuri Plums Blooming

Lone Peach

Because of the bad winter that killed the flower buds, the Peach trees didn’t produce a harvest of fruit. Though one lone Peach fruit did appear high up in one of the trees.

Chokecherries Fruiting

Chokecherry fruit doesn’t interest my tastebuds, but the wildlife may find it worthwhile. Besides the ornamental appeal of the fruit, the primary ornamental aspect of Chokecherry bushes are when they are full of white flowers in spring.

Ginkgo Leaves
