My Purple Beeches sure are enjoyable to look at this time of the year. But they have taken forever to grow, as this plant was planted in the late 1990’s.

Purple Beech Bush

The Beeches I have planted over the years have grown so slow, they are still practically bushes. The color contrasts with all the greens in the landscape.

Purple Beech Leaves

I’ve had some European Beech(Fagus sylvatica) trees for quite a few years. The couple Purple Beeches that I have are very noticeable.
