Bitternut Hickories contrast well with evergreens, like the Eastern Red Cedar. Soon the Red Cedar will be the only color in this area.

Fall Colors 2010
Bitternut Hickory has good yellow fall color. Black Gum has become a frequent tree on my blog in the fall because of its color. Sassafras is known for good fall color. Sun n’ Snow Poplar has attractive fall color during the whole growing season.
