What is this unusual creature I am holding? It is actually a bamboo rhizome I dug up and will transplant.

Golden Hops is a very fast growing vine. It grows back from the roots every spring and suckers some.

The Arundo Donax has gone skyward this year with its fast growth. Giant Reed has been my tallest grass ever, at 18 feet tall.

The Giant Reed(Arundo) I am growing is very fast growing. I planted this clump close to the house, so I can enjoy it a lot.

Peppermint Arundo Donax is a variegated ornamental grass. The grass is fast growing like the species.

Arundo Donax is a fast growing reed that is resistant to animal damage, though not immune. Some of the shoots have been cut off by a rabbit.
