The various species of Alders on my Oasis have awakened with some warmer weather.
This is my best looking Black Alder. Most of them have succumbed to various problems, the main one being major sunscald problems I think.
My young Gray Alders have attractive female cones developing this spring.
The reddish cones will turn brown by fall.
